Judy was predeceased by her parents Hazel and Stanley Knight, step-father Erskine Bogle, brother Gregg Knight as well as her grandson Kenery Anzora.
Judy was born, raised and lived out her life in Edmonton, Alberta.
Judy’s greatest joy was loving and spending time with her family and friends. If someone needed a hand, she was there. She was also a fun spirited soul. She loved to laugh, share a meal, tell great stories and was the family historian. She had incredible artistic talent. Everything she touched was a piece of art. She painted beautiful oil paintings, many of which are proudly displayed in family and friends’ homes. Her artistry included, but is not limited to, drawing and painting, incredible cooking, baking and entertaining skills, enjoying music and theatre, gardening, crafting, sewing, needle work, scrap booking, and quilting, all done with beauty and perfection.
Judy’s smile and sense of fun and friendship will be forever missed. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was kind and passionate and she made an impact on so many lives. Some of her favorite pastimes were spending time at the family lake cottage or visiting the mountains. She and Herb loved spending time with their family and the cottage was always full of children and grandchildren and recently to her joy, a great grandchild. Lake life included family and friends, great meals, animated card games with snacks, campfires and above all, love. She marvelled at the sunsets, the wildlife she saw, played in the fall leaves with grandchildren and embraced natures’ eternal beauty and peace.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Judy will be held at Hainstock’s Funeral Home on Monday, September 16th at 2 pm. Details can be found on the Hainstock’s website.
To a life well lived and until we meet again…we love you, beloved Wife, Mum, Gramma and Great Gramma.
