I remember seeing your tiktok in lockdown. I was surprised at how amazing your make up skills where and decided to follow. I always checked back at your account hoping you would post ❤️ 
. We chatted a little and i would always try and comment on your videos. i also became mutual with your friend myah. I feel so distant but at the same time so connected from just those little chats. I remember the last vidoe you made. A few months later sombody commented replying to mine saying she had passed. I was heart broken. that was a year ago now. I’ve always checked back on your account justine, for all this time. I find your videos comforting and i love looking back at our conversations. You really are a role model for me. I hope somewhere up high, your make up skills are progressing and you become that make up artist you dreamer

Although i didnt know you personally   I feel we became virtual friends thanks to Facebook  osteosarcoma  group page  and tik tok(Myah). Your passing into the next life hurt us so much even  though  we didnt know you, we felt connected to you and your sweet momma in a special way! Myah who also is fighting osteosarcoma now looks up to you and all your strengh during this vicious  fight!Rest in paradise , you won this battle! Send your momma signs ( and pranks🤭) from the other side! Something tells me fron everything  i heard in your service that you were quite  the silly girl! ❤🌻


My sweet girl. Bun, Justine and now known as white eagle soaring. Being your Aunty was one of the greatest honours of my life. From holding you in the hospital to holding you as you made your journey to the spirit world. You are an ancestor now- you prayed for a short time here on earth and now we get to call on you. And we will continue to need you. Thank you for sharing French fries with me, cuddling me and being a bright light in my life. You caught me love, courage, kindness, forgiveness and how to draw on some amazing brows. I will miss you so much. I cry for us, but I know you’re in a beautiful paradise with Bella, Toops, GiGi, Granny and Janaya. You’re home and at peace. I will hold your precious light within me forever. I remember seeing her on the Extra Life game day. See had the most wonderful smile. She had such an amazing and positive attitude towards everything, it was truly inspirational. I never knew her on a personal level, but from day 1 I could tell she was an amazing person. May she rest in peace, and may god be by her side. I am sure she is up in heaven, spreading joy to all of our hearts like she did when she gamed with us. 

Justine; I never had the pleasure of meeting you in person, but I had the privilege  of watching your journeys virtually.  I may not know you and your mom personally but man am I ever proud of the two of you for your strength. Watching your courage and your strength gave me the strength I need to help my son battle. I remember your laugh and the games we would play when you were just a little girl with your long, beautiful, curly hair. Our smiles were almost identical which I am so proud of because Justine, you had the most beautiful smile. I am so lucky to have known you, my beautiful niece.

Justine, you are an amazing young lady, so kind, and thoughtful a very special individual. A friend to everyone and a special friend to Ariana, it was so lovely to see your friendship bloom and grow. Picking you up after school you would come out with a big smile, start doing cartwheels and running around with the other children. 
This disease took you way too soon but for the time I had with you, you will forever be in my heart. You made me smile always, even if it was a bad day.
I watched you play with Ariana and you both reminded me that friendship is the best medicine. 
I will.miss you in body but you will forever be with me in my heart.

I did not get to be Justine's teacher for very long, but in that short time, she left a deep impression on me.  I looked forward to every class Justine could attend, because her smile and cheerful attitude brightened my corner and reminded me of how much I had to be thankful for even on dark days. She was a remarkable girl and will be etched on my mind forever. She never complained...an inspiration to those with lower mountains to climb, never to be discontent and always have hope. 

She was so dedicated to attending class when able. Today our class reminisced and we remembered her even joining Google Meet lessons while in the hallways of the Stollery for appointments. We checked out some of your Radiothon videos today, Justine, and were glad for those visuals of you to hang on to!

Alana, family,  and Justine's friends: my deepest sympathies! May precious memories bring comfort and help along the road of healing your broken hearts. Praying for you, that God would bring you the comforting touch that only He can.

Alana, my thoughts are with you always my friend. When I first met you and you spoke about Justine, I knew she was your life. You would light up the room with the stories of your “bun”!   Then I met the little firecracker!! That smile!!! Oh my!! That smile...... Such an old soul,  wise beyond her years! I always said, that girl has been on this earth before!!  Her maturity, her compassion, her love for you and the absolute zest for life she had! It was my absolute pleasure to have know her.  She is a part of you my friend and she will be with you always, watching over you and guiding you! Just  keep listening to that little voice in your ear........ “uh MOM? Really?”

Alanna, my heart goes out to you my girl, we should never have to say goodbye to our children. She will not suffer anymore, I hope you can take comfort in that.

Justine was a great person. We were friends from Grade 2 to grade 6. I feel bad because I didn't talk to her since October. She was great. She was always a great person to have around. . She was always there for me I just wasn't there for her for the last couple months.  I'm gonna miss her.
