With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Karamjit Singh Parmar at his home on April 24, 2025. He was a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Karamjit leaves behind his devoted wife, Surinder, and his cherished children: Harjinder (Talwinder Saroya), Rajpal (Harinder), and Baljinder (David Sorensen). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Devon, Sonia, Tarren, Jaya, Aneesha, Arjen, and Eashan, each of whom brought him immense joy. Karamjit was predeceased by his beloved parents, Beant Singh and Jas Kaur, and his siblings Avtar Singh, Charan Kaur, and Swarn Kaur. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the dedicated healthcare professionals at the Grey Nuns Hospital and the University of Alberta Hospital for the compassionate care they provided during Karamjit’s health journey in recent years.
His presence, his strength, and his love will be profoundly missed.
