

Thomas Andrew Lawrence (Larry) Davidson passed away on February 8th, 2021, one month shy of his 92nd birthday. He was born in Montreal on March 23, 1929. He moved to Edmonton in 1951, where he worked at the Texaco Refinery as an Instrumentation Foreman and also the Fire Chief until his retirement.
Larry was much loved and will be forever missed by his children; daughter Jan (Lee) Schmidt and their children Joanne (Aaron) White, Darren (Marcy) Schmidt, Pam (Tyler) Zielke, daughter Marj (Stan) Thomson and their children Dave Thomson (Tammy), Lindsay (Travis) Hutchings, son Bill (Karen) Davidson and their children James (Stephanie) Davidson, Heather (Chris) Holmes, Jeff (Emily) Davidson as well as 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Kevin (Margaret) Davidson and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Barbara Davidson, brother Lyall, sisters Beulah and Grace. Larry had been living at Country Cottage in Sherwood Park for the past 16 months and the family is grateful for all the care and kindness he has been shown by all the staff and residents.
Due to COVID there is no funeral/memorial planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (Edmonton) 5241 Calgary Trail NW #144, Edmonton, AB. T6H 5G8
