Lita was predeceased by her father, Lorenzo Taino. She is survived by her husband, Angel; sons, Xzander and Christian; mother, Josefa; and siblings, Alex, Gilbert, Efren, Wilfred, and Janet.
Born on September 28, 1966, to Lorenzo and Josefa Taino in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, Lita grew up alongside her four older brothers and younger sister. In 1992, the whole family immigrated to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Lita was a kind, energetic soul who loved to laugh and never failed to show her love for her family. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
