Born-July 24, 1955 Passed Away- March 10, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother, Lorraine Sieswerda, on March 10, 2022 at the age of 66.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Danielle (Antonio) DeRosa and her grandchildren (Allegra, Noah & Isaiah), her son Micheal, sisters Adele (Brian) Clarke, Arlene Aitkenhead, brother Doug Aitkenhead (Diane) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother David and her Mom and Dad, Alice and Dave Aitkenhead.
Lorraine was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and remained an avid Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan. She had a heart of gold and was always faithful in sending all her family birthday and Christmas cards as well as Christmas gifts for the kids. Everyone who knew Lorraine knew she loved anything and everything that was pink. Lorraine was also a very good cook and enjoyed making big suppers and desserts for her family. She was a huge fan of Donny and Marie Osmond so in 2019 her brother and sister took her to Las Vegas to see them in concert. The highlight for her was meeting them backstage.
Lorraine was a loving Grandma to her grandchildren Allegra, Noah and Isaiah. She enjoyed watching Allegra dance and both Noah and Isaiah play all sports. She always supported her kids Micheal and Danielle in everything they did with all the love she had. Lorraine was a kind and gentle soul.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to all the staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Beaumont Community Church on March 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at 5423-55 ST in Beaumont.
