IN THE CARE OF
Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium
On Sunday, January 22, 2023, Mrs. Lorrette Berry passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 84 years.
Left to cherish Lorrette’s memory is her husband of 61 years, Ron; her daughters, Tina (Wayne), Rhonda (Jack), Jane (Marc) and Janet (Ryan); her grandchildren, Melissa, Rebecca, Veronica (Daniel), Jackson, Jorja and Emily; her great-granddaughter, Danica; her sisters, Jeannette and Dianne (Chip) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Lorrette was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Lillian; her sister, Emilie and her brother-in-law, Keith.
Lorrette found much happiness and joy in the time she spent outside, it didn’t matter if she was gardening, camping, fishing or hunting. She shared many of her talents by giving back to others through volunteering with schools and senior’s centers. There was an art to the way that Lorrette could make friends with anyone, anywhere. Once you were in her circle of family and friends, Lorrette always made you feel welcomed and loved. Her sunny disposition will be missed by all those she held dear.
A celebration of Lorrette’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 34 Avenue, Edmonton AB with live streaming available on the funeral home website for those unable to join in person.
In lieu of other tributes, donations in Lorrette’s memory may be made to The Leduc Community Hospital Foundation, The Alberta Cancer Foundation, or The MS Society of Canada.
“May your day be as special as you are!”
