Marvin Pineda Guiao

Born on October 5, 1967 in Pampanga, Philippines to Lolita Pineda Guiao and Adriano Lumbang Guiao. He attended Roosevelt College Lamuan and later worked as a Machine Operator for Newly Weds Foods Co for 22 years.

Marvin was known for his love of singing and streaming his favourite Filipino films. A kind-hearted, hardworking, and generous man, he deeply loved his family and was someone his family and friends could always count on. His warmth, humour, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Marvin is survived by his beloved wife Maria Rhodora; daughter Kelsey Claire; and siblings Evelyn, Jonathan, Rosalyn, Emilyn, and Maria Susan Guiao.

He was predeceased by his parents, Adriano and Lolita, and his sibling, Nathaniel Guiao.

Marvin leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories and a legacy of love, generosity, and laughter. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the stories shared, the songs sung, and the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

There will be a viewing with prayers held at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, Edmonton, Alberta; Friday, October 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Vital Catholic Church, 4905 50 St, Beaumont, AB; Saturday, October 24, 2026. Viewing to begin at 9:00 AM and service will begin at 10:00 AM.

Burial to follow at Rosehill Cemetery 1605 141 Street NW, Edmonton, AB.
