Although, Melissa and I lost touch over the years, I still remember her dearly as a good childhood friend. I am saddened to hear of her passing. Melissa was such an incredibly smart, beautiful, and bright light. I have such fond memories of her. Like the time she went the wrong way on the basketball court and scored on her own net. Melissa was full of smiles, and just brushed it off. Needless to say, our coach jokingly named Melissa, "wrong-way Ranger" after that. I also recall how incredibly smart she was. I was baffled at her math ability, even at such a young age. 
Melissa you will be missed, but your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
To the Ranger family, I am so sorry for your loss. I am sending you  peace, love, and light from my family to yours. 

So sad to hear of Melissa's passing
She was so vibrant and cheerful.  As well she had the most competitive spirit in her sport of lawn bowling.  She will be missed and the lawn bowling community will miss her.

Our hearts were very sad to hear the news of Melissa's passing. So young and full of life. She was a special girl and albeit that we have not seen her for a very long time she is still vivid in spirit. Coaching her in 5 Pin Bowling was a special time for all of us and the fun, parties and travel were something we will never forget. Melissa was the one with the true spirit and her competitiveness was always apparent in everything she put her energy into. Please take strength in the beautiful memories she has given you to help get you through these very difficult days.

Melissa was a kind, charismatic and beautiful girl who brighten our lives with her love. My son Marco and I loved her dearly! I really enjoyed seeing how happy Melissa was the day we attended Mamma Mia musical and the ceramics workshop... precious memories to cheer forever in our hearts 💕 💗
