It’s been a few years since I worked with Naveen but I have fond memories of him and always looked forward to seeing him. Naveen was helpful and kind by nature and he was respected and cared for by his workmates. I am sending prayers and strength to the Chandra family as they navigate this difficult time and the future. My deepest condolences to all who loved him. 

I am saddened to hear about Naveen's passing. 
I had the pleasure of working with Naveen over the last few years & 
he was always such a happy man & so so nice to everyone.

I was lucky enough to have crossed life paths  with Naveen and he definitely left a lasting impression with me.  He was truly a quality individual that could always make me smile and laugh regardless of the situation. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jasmin and her family.  Naveen's loss will be felt by many because he was such a warm friendly person that he had many friend's me being one of them.  He was great to work with and I will never forget the warmth his smile and laughter brought to the shop each and every day. Rest in peace Naveen.

Naveen will be fondly remembered for his positive attitude, warm smile and his ability to know the time and date for every potluck gathering across the department. We grieve his untimely passing and will keep the family in our prayers and thoughts.

I remember working with Naveen at the Cloverbar shop. Naveen was always upbeat, positive, and smiling. He was always more than willing to help you or share his vast knowledge of HD mechanics with you. I will always remember when Naveen would come up to me, clap his hands three times, and say "come on Mike its kava time" He was a good man and co-worker, and will be dearly missed.

Naveen was a man who could have been anyone's best friend, his kind, friendly, humorous attitude shone through to make everyone around him feel comfortable. When I first met Naveen it was instant friendship. He would listen so intently, always saw the bright side of of any situation and had the most hilarious antics. We had many great discussions and felt we shared some similarities. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Condolences to the whole Chandra family on your great loss.  We have seen Navin grow up, get successful education, get married, have kids and then his very sad loss. Jasmin and family. I am so sorry to hear of Naveen's passing. I had the priviledge of working with him a number of years ago. This is a loss that will be felt deeply by all. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

It is hard to find the words that would be guaranteed to console and comfort your hearts during this awful  time.
I knew Naveen only shortly, but through work events at the city
I came to know him as a very kind, gentle, caring, competent work-mate who had a high degree of integrity in all that he did while at the city.
I have been, and continue to be, praying that God will surround you and protect your hearts as you walk through this hard time.

He was a kind, inquisitive and caring person that will be greatly missed
I worked as a parts technician at the Cloverbar facility and dealt with Naveen on a daily basis.  He was always cheerful and upbeat.
Even if the part that he required was not in stock.  When this occurred he started asking questions as to why the part was not in stock.  Not to lay blame for the part not being there.  But to understand the process in which to have the part put into stock.    The knowledge he brought to the City of Edmonton, on Mac trucks, was greatly appreciated.  Especially when it came to what parts we should be stocking for our fleet.  Naveen was always willing to lend a hand to help out where he could.
Naveen Chandra's charismatic smile and wonderful soul will be greatly missed.

When I first met Naveen. I found out he doesn’t like changing big tractor tires.  So the welder and myself made him a magic tire wand so that he could change tires magically.    Of course he placed  the wand in the garbage but didn’t say a thing.  That was Naveen. A very kind hearted, intelligent, individual  wanted the best for himself and others.  I will miss his kindness, intelligence and his ability to get others to change tires.

I am so sorry to hear of Naveens passing. Naveen worked for me for a period of time.  He is incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, made me laugh and caring soul. He also loved his sweets! Shortly after working for me he became ill suddenly. I went to the hospital a number of times to check on him. I got to know Jasmin, their son, his brother and other family during my visits. They are a wonderful caring family and my heart breaks for them. Prayers and hugs to the family.
