Norah S. Dawson

She will be remembered by her family Doug (Laurie), Pat (Merle), Jim (Brenda), Bob (Barb), Kathy, and her eleven grandchildren and their spouses/partners. Survived by her brother Doug Rose (Helen) and sister-in-law Olive Lamoureaux (Gus). She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Doug. She will be missed by her friends at Devonshire Village and the ladies at the Reach to Recovery organization. We are especially grateful to the caring staff at Devonshire, the Grey Nuns Hospital and Dr Lynda Nguyen and her staff.

Norah's greatest joy was her family and she cherished the times spent together. She was proud of her children's accomplishments and delighted in the joys and achievements of her grandchildren. She loved dancing, painting, music, shopping and trips with Doug and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, cheerfulness and caring spirit (and her chocolate chip cookies).

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations in Norah's honour may be made to a charity of one's choice.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810-34th Ave, Edmonton. Cremation has been entrusted to Hainstock's Crematorium.
