A friendship of 35 years, I am proud to have seen Mario and Reyna’s sons become hard working men. I am truly grateful that Omar found a beautiful wife, Claudia, hence able to raise three beautiful children. 
Una amistad de 35 años, estoy orgulloso de haber visto a los hijos de Mario y Reyna convertirse en hombres que trabajan duro. Estoy realmente agradecida de que Omar haya encontrado una hermosa esposa, Claudia, y crecer una bella familia.

Despite the long distance friendships, the Platero family and my family always kept in touch.

As we grew up together we learned and laughed from each other. We shared great best moments. 
Who knew you were going to be more than than Family to us! The Lopez Family! Who we call Family! We will miss and cherish your memories always! Thank you in behalf of our Juarez Family!

My dear little brother Omar (as we always referred to you growing up), there are truly no words to describe these emotions. Every word that people have spoken about you, from the loving and caring person you are to the unique and contagious laughter that could only belong to you, are my same sentiments. You will always be loved and remembered and your legacy will continue with your beloved friends and family. Until we see you again, may the light of a thousand angels guide you to heavens door. Forever in our hearts.

My compadre, I cannot believe that I am writing this. My deepest condolences to the Platero family, my godson Alex, Claudia, Christian, and Olivia. Remembering all the good times we had together with friends and family always putting a smile on each others  faces. Always coming into a room and hearing your unique laugh put a smile on my face knowing that you were there and that the fun would begin. You will surely be missed and always remembered. Omar, I will always love you like a brother and you’ll always be my brother. 
There are no words to say to heal these broken hearts that we have in the loss of a good friend and a brother. Omar, may you rest in peace and we will see you when we get there. Love you man

Condolences to the family. So very sad to hear. I worked with Omar and he always had a smile on his face, liked to joke around and was always so kind. Such a tragedy to lose such a good person. He will always be remembered. Prayers and thoughts to you all.

My brother word cant express this loss for me. We grew up together and I have many shared moments with you. You were my brother and I will cherish all our memories together. I will miss your laughter and honesty tremendously. Your with god and the angels, rest in peace brother and I know I will see you again.
