Born on June 16, 1943, in Bagumbayan, Taguig, Philippines, Mike built a beautiful life centered around family, hard work, friendship, and joy. He moved to Canada in 1977 and dedicated more than 30 years to working as a sheet metal worker. For 49 years, Mike shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Lutgarda “Lulu.” Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
He loved fishing and was an avid sports fan. Mike proudly cheered for the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Blue Jays, but basketball held a particularly special place in his heart. A talented basketball player in his youth, he collected numerous trophies throughout the years. In later years, some of his favorite moments were spent in the stands, cheering on his children and grandchildren. He loved being part of it and held those memories close to his heart.
Of all his accomplishments, Mike’s family was his greatest achievement and his deepest source of pride. Mike was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lutgarda “Lulu”, and his children, Liza (Kevin) Victoor and Ricky (Tina) Gregorio, along with his cherished grandchildren, Zane, Violet, Jake, Cole, and Miles.
The love, lessons, laughter, and memories he gave them will remain in their hearts forever.
