It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William (Bill) Malin on November 26 , 2019 after suffering from dementia. It's been a long goodbye but the journey is over. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth and his daughter Brenda. He is survived by his daughter Corinne (Rick) Roth and son Garnet (Heather) Malin, also 6 grandchildren Christine (Tyler) Olson, Laelia Lefeuvre (Quill Shiell), Jackie (Brad) Spurrell, Amanda (Kevin) Chilton, Quinn Malin and Eric Malin. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, Jordyn, Carter, Tristan, Kenzie, Cooper, Gracie and Brinkley. His journey through life started in Weyburn, Saskatchewan and carried him through many places in Canada including Toronto and Saskatoon. He spent his teenage years in Victoria before settling in Edmonton. He joined the Edmonton Fire Dept and after becoming a Captain he retired in 1987. He loved to travel and enjoyed a great retirement with Ruth. Good bye Dad, we will miss you but a piece of you will always remain in our hearts. A private memorial is being held for the family.
