He is survived by his dearly loving wife, Marilyn, and his mother, Ruth Johnson-Wessel of Kelowna, B.C., mother-in-law, Florence Martin of Edmonton, and a special niece, Janice Erickson (husband Brian and family, Jamie and Lindsay) in Colorado. He was predeased by his father, Bill Johnson in 1987.
He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by numerous family and friends.
To honour Ray's wishes, there will be no memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be kindly accepted to the Edmonton Humane Society.
Special gratitude to Dr. Gulahusein and all of the remarkable staff in ICU for their expertise and compassionate care.
Ray was Marilyn's confidant and best friend, and provided her with a source of comfort, love, joy, humour and companionship for over 40 years.
