Rebecca de Vera Mejia

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Manuel, Her daughters Mary Ann (Marcus), their two children Madison and Maleia; and Marelou(Jonathon) their two children Olivia and Carter and her daughters' older sister, Virginia, husband Ross, and their daughter Bridgette.

Rebecca was predeceased by her daughter Marivick; and parents Encarnacion and Louis; siblings Rosario, Cipriano, Cecilia, Josefina.

She will be greatly missed as there are no words to express the gratitude we have for her and the sacrifices she has made for our family as she has always put her children and grandchildren needs before hers. We will miss her voice, her laugh, her sense of humor, her compassion, and her cooking.

Though she is no longer with us, her love will remain in our hearts always, guiding us and living on through each of us.

May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely in life.

Visitation will be held at Memories Funeral Home and Crematorium, 13403 St Albert Trail, Edmonton, AB, T5L4X1, CA, on June 24, 2026, at 6:00 pm with Deacon Rene Mella officiating.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church, 17511 112 St NW, Edmonton, AB, T5X 5X9, CA, on June 25, 2026, from 11:00 am with Father Marc Cramer officiating. Cremation to follow the service.
