Richard "Rick" Angus Nissen

Over the past 14 years, Rick struggled with many physical health issues, but put up one heck of a fight. His strength and determination helped him overcome many battles; all while maintaining a strong will, his great sense of humour, a little bit of stubbornness and a positive outlook.

He is survived by his loving wife Chris, daughter Andrea (Brad), son Aaron, grandchildren Madison and Noah, sisters Darcia, Candace (Rick), his brothers Nolan (Sandy), Greg (Margaret), Brent, and their families. Brother in laws Joe (Donna and niece Jenn), George (Marmar). In addition, Rick had many nieces, nephews and friends he loved. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is predeceased by his father Angus, mother Lillian, sister Nadine, nephew TJ, father-in-law Ambrose, and mother-in-law Lucy.

In keeping with Rick’s wishes, his sharp wit, and light up a room personality, a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday Oct 29, 2022 at 1pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home and Crematorium 9810 34 Ave Edmonton, AB. We invite all of those who knew and loved him or those wishing to pay respects to come and help us celebrate his memory.
