I am so very sorry to hear of Ricky's passing.  Like our other cousins, my memories go back to our grandparents farm, where we played and enjoyed being together, especially for a game of Ghost.  Uncle Jim and Aunt Eileen always welcomed all the kids into their home for music, baked treats and laughs afterwards and Ricky was a great part of that along with Laurie and Sherry.  

Ricky was always kind and interesting as he knew so much of the farm and about the nature in the woods.   My thoughts are with Myrna and family and Aunt Eileen, Sherry and Rob and family and Laurie's family.

We were so sorry to hear of Ricky’s passing. Over the last years I would see Ricky in Safeway when he was bringing Aunt Eileen for groceries.  We’d catch up on news about our families. May Ricky Rest In Peace.  

I only now heard of Ricky's passing, and my heart goes out to Myrna and family, Aunt Eileen, and Sherry. When Ricky and I were boys all those years ago, we were as close as first cousins could be. The family farm was a magic place, and Ricky was my guide to the magic. Whether we were sneaking up on birds, collecting their eggs, trying to keep baby mice alive in his sisters' playhouse, or crawling into hiding places that only Ricky knew about - we were forming memories that live on to this day. After my family moved to Calgary, I would return for sleepovers, and we would laugh and talk so far  into the night that Uncle Jim would inevitably have to  shut us down. 
Rest well, Ricky - and know that I will always treasure our time together.

We are so sorry to hear of Ricks passing.  The neighbourhood will be a little sadder with him gone..  Always  a wave and a smile when the two of you would pass by.

Rick was  the love of my life and my best friend for 40+ years. He was a kind and caring man and will be missed by all who knew him . I know he will watch over the kids and I and he will  remain in our hearts forever.  

There's not many people in this life that you can call a real friend but i consider Rick one of mine. Although we didn't see much of each other last few years  I have many  memories of us collecting birds eggs (he always had best collection) chasing critters with guns and fishing. We worked on brushing crews together and Rick always did his share of the work and was always willing to help (even with the hydration  after)  . Miss you,  and God willing, see you later .

Shocked and deeply saddened by your loss. Rick was a best friend growing up and into early adulthood and was one of my best men 49 years ago at Elaine's and my wedding. Why and how we did not stay connected since then has and will always be a mystery to me and I now seriously regret not having made a greater effort. Rest in peace my friend ..... so many great and lasting memories with you and your family - duck hunting, trapping, fishing, playing Rummoli ..................................

I  can  remember Ricky and myself spending time playing in the sandbox  outside of  the house.  We would have cars, trucks and other bits and pieces to build roads and dig holes.

Ricky was fun to be with and I visualize that time  with great fondness.

I'm so sorry to hear of Rick's passing.  I have very fond memories of visiting at the Henderson grandparents farm. I would stay in the kitchen at their side of the duplex, for a little while, listening to the adults talk. Then I would ask  "Can I go play with the kids?" A parent would walk me over to Uncle Jim & Aunt Eileen's  and usually they would be home.  I would spend the rest of the afternoon there; either playing outside, playing cards, etc.  Gary & Randy would join us too, if they were home, too.  I was in the middle between Rick & Laurie, in age.  Always enjoyed spending time with Rick. Sandra & Gary  Villetard.
