On December 24, 2014 Rodney Patrick Lyttle, passed away at the age of 56. He is survived by his loving wife Penny, his daughters Roxanne (Stephen) and Kerrie, his beautiful granddaughter Olivia, numerous siblings, extended family, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Albert his mother Mary (Molly), his brother Michael (Gerry), his Father-in-law John, mother-in-law Mary, and sister-in-law Barb.
Rod was born in Edmonton on May 24, 1958 and grew up in the Westwood area. He attended school at St. Patrick and St. Basil and then went right into the work force. He met Penny and her family around 1982 and started dating her not long after. On February 3, 1984 they welcomed their first daughter Roxanne and then on May 28, 1990 daughter Kerrie came along to complete their loving family.
Rodney touched everyone with his love, wit and charm. There wasn’t anyone whom he met that he didn’t leave a mark on their heart or a smile on their faces. He will be dearly missed by all.
