It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roman ‘Dude’ Dudar, who departed from us suddenly on February 12, 2025, at the age of 76. Roman was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
Roman was born on May 29, 1948. He worked for the City of Edmonton for over 30 years before he retired. Throughout his life he worked hard but always took the time for many road trips.
Roman was larger than life. He was a devoted father to his family which included his cats Pusik, Cleatus and Gork.
Roman is survived by his 2 daughters Jacquelyn (Richard), Jennette (Jeff), his 3 granddaughters Madison, Delaney, and Avery, and great granddaughter Sophia.
The family would like to thank the West End Kidney Care Clinic and University Hospital for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Royal Canadian Legion or the Edmonton Humane Society.
A celebration of Roman’s life will be held at 10:00am, Friday February 28, 2025, at Hainstock’s Funeral Home & Crematorium 9810 34 Ave NW, Edmonton. The service will be live streamed.
