Sam was predeceased by his beloved wife Jeanne and daughter Mary Lynn. He is survived by and will be remembered by his loving children: Randy (Ronni) Candelora, Wendy (John) Fletcher, Barry Candelora; grandchildren Genevieve, Aaron, Anthony, Ian, Neil, Jessie-Jeanne, ShaeLynn, Cale; great-grandchildren Madison, Joel, Gianna,; sisters Connie Dube, Lita Laporte. Also survived by his daughter Cheryl Mosiuk and her children Kyle Mosiuk and Colin Mosiuk as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
A private family service was held. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made in his name to the Cross Cancer Institute or to the Canadian Diabetes Association of Alberta.
