It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our sister and friend, Shalee Anne Yakimchuk. Shalee was predeceased by her mother, Lynne Dunstan. She is survived by her sister, Kari (Doug) and brother, Collin; uncle, Marty (Mary); and nephews, Sean (Kacie), Justin and their Mom, Kim; and many cousins.
With her unforgettable laugh and unrelenting pursuit of fun, Shalee’s high spirit was a gift to all who knew her. Shalee had an amazing zest for life and filled every room she entered with her bright shining light. Adventure and travel were a big part of her life and she was always game for a trip, be it driving the Canadian highways to go camping with friends or on a plane to Mexico.
Her long career in the oil & gas industry allowed her to make a home in numerous cities and foster warm friendships wherever she found herself. She had a passion for music of many genres, a fabulous wit, and was an avid horticulturist.
