Shirley Joyce Gibbons

Shirley was born in Edmonton where she met and married Wayne Gibbons. They were married for 56 years. They had 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren. Shirley loved having her grandchildren for sleepovers, tea parties, wiener roasts and picnics in the backyard or parks. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards, and having family gatherings.

She spent the majority of her career in retail and took great pride in her work.

Shirley is survived by daughters; Cindy (Barry) Olsen and Nicole (Greg) Boutestein. She will forever be remembered by her 4 grandchildren; Chelsey, Caitlyn, Dylan, and Emily, numerous nieces and nephews and siblings; Linda (Joe) Fedorvich and Randy (Evelyn) Dwernychuk.

Shirley was predeceased by husband; Wayne, daughter; Monique, parents; Steve and Vera Dwernychuk, in-laws; Jack (Popeye) and Betty Wilson, siblings; Margaret Thiel, Nora Liedtke, Ken Dwernychuk, and William (Bill) Dwernychuk.

Shirley will be remembered for her kindness, big heart, and the love she showed to everyone she met.
