It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather. Terry was a great friend, consummate leader and pillar of strength for all who knew him. A born naturalist with a passion for habitat conservation, he worked for Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Alberta Conservation Association to preserve wetlands for future generations. His greatest joys were his family, friends, hunting, fishing and camping; passions that he passed on to his children and grandchildren.
Terry leaves behind his wife, Cheryl, children Sean (Michelle), Kerri (Sean) and Wade (Janice) and 10 grandchildren, a large extended family and will be missed by all who he touched throughout his life and travels.
A private memorial service is being held with immediate family on 27 September, 2021; a larger celebration of his life will be held at a later date when COVID-19 restrictions permit.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation or for habitat conservation projects.
