Vera Paula Blask nee Dagg was born in Provost Alberta August 15, 1926 to Joseph and Elsa Frank. When she grew up she worked on a bookkeeping machine at a car lot for Price and Andrew in Edmonton. Later she met Donald Ronan Dagg and they were married January 26, 1952. They adopted two girls, Sharon Teresa and Colleen Marie. She was a stay at home mother and together they raised the girls. Donald died October 4, 1968, from a heart attack. Vera was alone for many more years until she met Allen Blask. They were married June 24, 2000. They also had a very good marriage.
On this past July 30th Vera and Al were celebrating an early 100" birthday for Vera at Al’s daughter Linda Toal's place. There with friends and family they enjoyed a fun night of celebrating. Shortly after, Vera passed away on the drive home.
Vera is predeceased by her parents, her daughter; Sharon, and her sisters; Rene Ninowsky, and Eleanor Sperling.
Service will be held at Sunrise Community Church August 15 at 11:00 am.
