Wade will be forever loved and remembered by his loving wife, Lorraine, of 33 years; children, Jo-Anne (John) Lykouris, Dan Dowling, Greg (Sara) Dowling, Terry Dowling; grandchildren, Riley (Breigh), Courtney, Jacob, Josh, Cooper, Maya, Jamie, and Nolan.
Wade was predeceased by his beloved son, Jim Dowling, and sister, Margaret Fischer.
Cremation has taken place and a small, private family service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Sturgeon Hospital for their care and compassion.
Wade enjoyed a successful career with Nova Corporation both in Edmonton and Calgary. His pride and joy was time with his family. Wade was known for his playful sense of humour and quick wit. He was especially proud to have been born in Banff, Alberta, where a commemorative bench will be placed in his honour.
