She was predeceased by her husband Maryon on February 10, 2003.
She is lovingly remembered by her family; her daughter Marilyn, her three sons, Randy, Kevin (Shelly), Kim (Marnie) and four grandchildren: Myles, Kelly (John), Samantha and Stephanie: her sister Lavinia, and brothers Cecil and Darvyne, and great Aunt’s Adelaide (more like a sister), Kay, Aldona and Marion, and nieces and nephews.

Mom lived her life for her family, and greatly enjoyed family gatherings. She suffered a stroke on December 14, 2015 from which she never fully recovered. We always knew her deep love, but during this time we grew to understand her incredible courage as she underwent many illnesses and struggles to find peace, and she finally closed her eyes and breathed peacefully her last breaths, with family by her side, as God called her home.
Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 am at Ste. Agnes Catholic Parish, 10826 – 62 Avenue NW, Edmonton, followed by a reception at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 – 34 Avenue, Edmonton, and burial at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Nisku.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
