William, fondly known as Bill, was born in Toy Shen, China on July 22, 1931. He emigrated to Canada in 1955, and after working in Vancouver, Toronto and Destruction BayYukon, the family settled in Alberta in 1965, making Edmonton their home for the last 58 years.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Anne and devoted sons, Howard and Hubert. He also leaves to mourn his loss his sister Kwan Wai Sau, step-mother Yang Sou Mei, as well as half-brother and half-sister Kenneth and Jane Lam. His legacy continues with five grandchildren, Emily, Gabrielle, Sabrina, Natalie, and Jasper and three great grand-children Charlie, Solange and Samantha. He will be greatly missed by his many family and friends.
His love for travel took him and Anne on many adventures all over the world. He also loved to build and repair, from a car engine to a cottage, he knew how to put it together. Bill was always the first to volunteer if anyone needed help and he touched the lives of all who knew him in a warm and caring way.
