William Ray Wenzel

Bill was born in Elk Point, Alberta, alongside his identical twin brother, Bob.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Doreen; his daughters, Candace (Ron) and Jaclynn (Matt); and his cherished grandchildren, Liam, Ronnie, Jillian, Callie, and Charlie.

He also leaves behind his brother, Ken; his sister, Patricia; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; many brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many dear and lifelong friends.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Hugo and Margaret Wenzel; his brothers, Lance, Don, Doug, and Bob; his sisters, Norma, Sheila, and Brenda; his mother-in-law, Molly; and his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Roy, Gerry, Rodney, and Christine.

Through all that life brought his way, Bill held his family and friends close to his heart. He had a great love of golf, achieving an impressive 7 hole-in-ones. He also loved music and shared his tunes wherever he went.

His laugh was unforgettable, infectious, and impossible to miss. No matter where you were, hearing it would instantly bring a smile to your face and make you laugh too. He had a strong sense of adventure, and we were so blessed to have our last family adventure together this May in Nashville to celebrate his and Doreen's 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, love for his family, and the many memories he created will remain forever in our hearts.

At Bill’s request, no service will be held. The family will host a farewell drop-in at a later date. The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out and sent their love and condolences.
