Wilmer (Wil) Lee Miller passed away in Edmonton, Alberta, on October 19, 2026, at the age of 93.
Wil was a devoted husband to Mary, his wife of 68 years, and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a hard worker and built a very successful career in the finance industry, working well into his 80's. Wil took great pride in his family, his garden, and cheering on his beloved Edmonton Oilers, holding season tickets for more than 40 years.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, wonderful sense of humour, and deep love for his family.
Wil will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary; his children, Brad (Lenora), Alison (Paul), Theresa (Terry), and Elaine (Glenn); his grandchildren, Maria (Matt), Alyssa (Jesse), McKayla (Scott), Jordy, Taylor, and Ryan; and his great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Sarah, and Rowena.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
A mass will be held at Hainstock Funeral Home (9810 34 Avenue Edmonton) on Friday October 30th, 2026 at 10AM. Reception to follow. Private interment at 12:30PM.
