Armande Rosane Guitard

It is with profound sadness, and in loving memory, we announce the passing of Mrs. Armande Rosane (LeClair) Guitard of Dundee. Armande, wife of Bernard (Banjo) Guitard, passed away peacefully in her residence on February 11, 2025, at the age of 87, or as she would say, in her 88th year.

Born on January 14, 1938, in Dundee, NB to the late Donat LeClair and late Germaine (Thériault) LeClair. Armande is survived by her husband of 69 years and her six daughters; Anna Larochelle, Evelyn Seney (John), Louise Reid (Richard), Marie Lafrance (Max), Sandra Guitard-Doucet (Roger) and Donna Guitard (Derrick Downey). She was blessed with seven grandchildren; Andrew, Jess (deceased), Veronique, Jennifer, Christine, Alexandre, Viviane and ten great-grandchildren; Paige, Keagan, Jamie, Madison, Brea, Rylan, Brennan, Raphael, Damien and Talia. Armande also had several loving brothers and sisters (Leclair) and brothers and sisters-in law (Guitard), both surviving and predeceased.

As the matriarch of the family, she had a great passion for family, music, and nature. She was known for her great cooking and creativity in the kitchen. Daily visits from the family pets were a source of joy for her. Armande had a strong sense of faith and was a life-long learner.

Respecting Armande’s wishes, there will be no visits and no services. She will be laid to rest in the Dundee cemetery.
