Millie was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren. She loved her role as Grandma Millie! She had a vivacious personality and always made us laugh. She enjoyed bingo, sewing , quilting, card making, rummikub and volunteering. And back in the early days in New York, she was an ace bowler. She was a devoted wife to Michael for 60 years.
Diagnosed with leukemia only two weeks earlier, at 90 years old mom's wishes were to come home to be in her own bed and watch Turner Classic Movies. Her family members were nearby to cook, comfort her and be together. She passed peacefully in her sleep without further complications.
We will miss her, but are comforted to know she is in heaven with her husband, parents and loved ones.
