Debra Ann Hoover

Debra Ann Hoover passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025 in El Cajon, CA. She was born June 11, 1952 in Sedro Woolley, WA. The eldest child of Carl Knight and Hazel Huff, nee Terwillegar, she displayed a warm and caring nature which would shape her life and the lives of those around her.

After graduating high school, Debra chose to devote herself fully to her family, dedicating years to the nurturing and upbringing of her boys, Cory and Tyson Hoover. Her home was always a welcoming and tidy space, filled with love and laughter. Friends and family always admired her ability to find the silver lining in any situation, as her kindness and optimism seemed boundless. Anyone that knew Debbie also knew she loved her coffee and a good cigarette.

Debra was preceded in death by both of her parents and her eldest son, Cory Hoover. She is survived by her youngest son Tyson (Jennifer) Hoover and her only grandchild Grant Hoover. She is also survived by her two sisters, Diane (Richard) Harris and Darla Torset; and her two brothers Dean (Dawn) Knight and Dennis (Cathy) Huff. She leaves behind many family members including nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
