Geraldine Ware Bogle was born on November 6, 1927 to Dr. Clinton Floyd Ware and Lydia Ruth Ware. She grew up in Meadville, PA and graduated from Allegheny College with a BA. Gerry taught middle school math in Cory PA before working as an Engineering Assistant at General Electric in Erie where she loved playing golf on the GE course daily during the summer. Gerry married Joseph Black Bogle in 1956 and left the outside workforce to manage her home and raise Barbara Bogle Ferreira and Joseph B Bogle. She shepherded the family through moves to San Jose & Walnut Creek California where Joe’s promotions took him and they retired to Beaverton, Oregon before relocating to San Diego to be near their children and grandchildren.
Gerry is survived by her children Barb and Joe (Arlene) and her grandchildren, William ((Billy) & Sebastian Ferreira, Phillip & Matthew Bogle, all of San Diego and her brother C. Frank Ware of Sun City, Arizona. She will rest with her husband at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego. A long and blessed life well lived. She was a blessing to every single person she met.
