Mary Zia Namou Tomina

Mary is survived by her spouse, Yacoub Tomina; her daughter Shatha Hamama; her daughter Wafa Eide; her son Bashar Tomina; her daughter Sozan Tomina; her son Wissam Tomina; her daughter Sonia Tomina; her son Joseph Tomina; and her son Christopher Tomina; her sister Najat Kakos.

Mary was preceded in death by her brother Sabre Kakos and her brother Farag Kakos.

Mary also leaves two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

A funeral mass for Mary will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Chaldean Catholic Cathedral, 1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon, CA 92019. Following the funeral mass will be a graveside at 12:15 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
