Peggy was the only daughter of Emil and Ebba Simonson of Chicago.
Peggy married Paul Murray of Chicago in 1949 and was happily married until his passing in 1982.
Peggy was a very artistic individual who loved drawing and carving. As a youth, she loved drawing movie stars of the Golden Age. She enjoyed doing religious drawings as well. When she was a teenager, Peggy also learned to carve small sculptures out of soap, creating small figures of people and religious items. She later moved on from soap to wood and continued creating these little treasures.
Peggy is preceded in passing by her husband Paul and her daughter Karen Grable.
Peggy is survived by her sons David and Steven Murray.
Grandsons- Stephen Murray, Paul Murray, Kristofer Murray, and Jonathan Grable.
Granddaughters- Katherine Sidler, Veruschka ZsiZsi, and Diana Murray.
Great-grandchildren Joshua Murray, Kendall Murray, Jakob Murray, Grace Murray, and Kiera Murray.
Peggy will be laid to rest at El Cajon Cemetery, 2080 Dehesa Rd, El Cajon, CA 92019.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
