

Roseann Gilmore, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on November 3, 1955, in Youngstown, Ohio, Roseann touched countless lives with her love, compassion, and warmth.
Roseann's life was enriched by her marriage to Larry Charles Gilmore on March 24, 1973. Together, they built a loving home and family, creating a foundation of strength and unity that endured through the years.
She was the cherished daughter of Samuel James Pagano and Rose Marie Marzula, and one of six children. Roseann was a devoted mother to her three daughters: Krissa Marie Wright, Kortney Ann Brehm, and Kylie Nicole Hopkins. Her love for her daughters was boundless, and she took immense pride in their achievements.
Roseann's joy was multiplied with the arrival of her nine grandchildren: Jessica, Nikki, Konnor, Rosie, Jordyn, Addison, Ava, Ryland, and Ella. She delighted in watching them grow and flourish, always providing a nurturing and supportive presence in their lives.
She was adored by her sons-in-law: Bob, husband of Krissa; Anthony, husband of Kortney; and Danny, husband of Kylie. Roseann's warmth and kindness extended to all who became part of her family, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and loved.
Since 1976, Roseann and Larry made their home in Santee, where she became the heart of the neighborhood. She was a nurturer and loved all living things, as evidenced by her beautiful yard and garden, of which she took great pride. Her home was a place of comfort and joy, where friends and neighbors could always find a listening ear and a helping hand. Roseann touched the lives of all who met her, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
Roseann courageously battled mantle cell lymphoma for a decade, following her diagnosis on September 14, 2014. Despite the challenges, her strength and resilience were an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Preceded in death by her parents and her older sister, Mary Joe Smith, Roseann now joins them in eternal peace. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be watching over us until we meet again.
Roseann Gilmore's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
