Habib is survived by his spouse, Triza Shamya; his son Hikmat Mokou; his daughter Shammama Mokou; his son fareed Mokou; his daughter Layla Mokou; his daughter Fareeda Mokou; his son Faris Mokou; and his son Farat Mokou; his sister Fadheela Allosh.

A funeral service for Habib will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Peter Chaldean Catholic Cathedral, 1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon, CA 92019. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 12:15 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
