Warena Matti Shamoon

Warena is survived by her daughter Marian Matti (Gewargis Toma); her daughter Jameela Matti (Yousif Toma); her son Kameran Matti (Viryan Matti); her son Meerkhan Matti (Jenni Matti); her daughter Rita Matti (Sam Younan); her daughter Jaleela Matti Gorou (Majid Gorou); her daughter Khatoon Matti; her son Fakhri Matti; her daughter Kamala Matti Jebbo (Walid Jebbo); her daughter Sarma Matti (Walid Jebbo); and her son Jalal Matti (Husniyah Matti); her sister Warda Shamoon.

Warena was preceded in death by her son Jahwar Matti (Arkram Matti).

Warena Shamoon also leaves 39 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Warena will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Chaldean Catholic Church, 799 East Washington Avenue, #5327, El Cajon, CA 92020. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
