Bennie Lee Kinard

Born on April 25, 1916; she was a lifelong resident of Union County and the daughter of John P and Nettie Brasher Allen. A homemaker Bennie enjoyed working in yard and tending to her garden. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Bennie was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Linnie Price and Minnie Williams, a brother Otto Allen, an infant daughter Gloria Dean Kinard and her husband S.P. Kinard.

Survivors are a daughter Judie (William) Cottrell of El Dorado, a son Dr. Jerry (Linda) Kinard of Florence, SC, along with Grandchildren Molly (Jimmy) Norris, Amy Webb, Kelly (Biff) Scott, Carole (Forrest) Scott, Dr. Brian (Jennifer) Kinard and Holly (Dr. Brad) Campbell, great grandchildren Collin and Erin Norris, Guy, Gabriel and Conner Webb, Hannadi, Sawyer, Hayden and Bailey Scott and Mary Lachlan Campbell.

Graveside services will be 2 pm, Friday, December 7, 2012 at Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. Monroe Hill officiating. Memorials may be made to Rolling Hill Ministry.
