

He was born February 10, 1944 in El Dorado, AR to Berry Franklin Rabun, Sr. and Margaret Estelle Hottle. He was a graduate of Southern State College and was President of Rabun Oil Company. Berry was member of First Baptist Church of El Dorado where he served as a deacon and also was a member of the Civitan Club. He loved to fellowship with God and carry on God’s work. He led Bible study classes at the Rehab Unit at MCSA and also enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Preceding him in death are his parents and a son Frank Rabun.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 yrs. Glenda Rabun of El Dorado; his beloved cousins, Merrye Smith of El Dorado and Mike Dwyer of Little Rock, AR; and his lifelong friend Jim Spencer of Birmingham, AL.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at First Baptist Church El Dorado with Dr. Lynn Worthen and Rev. Ben Early officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at the funeral home.
