Betty J. Howard Woolsey, 87, of El Dorado, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016. She was born April, 1, 1929 in El Dorado to the late Millard Newt and Willie Ione Dodgen Howard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Herbert E. Woolsey; sister, Rose Mary Howard Martin.
Betty was a member of the East Main Baptist Church in El Dorado. She worked for more than 40 years for El Dorado House and Larry's Rexall Pharmacy.
She is survived by son, Bruce E. Woolsey (Carole); daughter, Penney Graham (Ricky) all of El Dorado; three grandchildren, Carolyn Schultz (Ronnie) of Magnolia, TX; Bruce W. Woolsey (Lisa) of El Dorado; Jennifer Robertson (Don) of Ruston, LA; seven great-grandchildren, Brandon (Nicole) Murphy of Palestine, TX; Megan Murphy of Palestine, TX; Cole Robertson (Rachel) of West Monroe, LA; Madison Robertson of Ruston, LA; John David Woolsey of El Dorado; Preston Robertson of Ruston, LA; Jacob Woolsey of El Dorado; seven great great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends who all loved and will miss her dearly.
