Cathryn Michelle Weaver

Born March 23, 1951, in Charleston, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Richard Steele and Martha Farley Steele. She was of the Southern Baptist faith, and had worked as an Executive Loan Officer for Southern Bancorp, Smackover State Bank, Regions, BancorpSouth, First Financial Bank, and Exchange Bank and Trust Company. Cathryn enjoyed reading, crocheting, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her father- in-law, A. Z. Weaver.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Gerald Weaver of Smackover; daughters, Kimberly Rollins (Neal, Jr.) of Alexander, Arkansas and Cheryl Kelley (Robert) of Conway, Arkansas; her mother-in-law, Maxine Littlejohn of El Dorado; one brother, Edward Steele (Brenda) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and eight grandchildren, Hanna Greene, Neal Rollins, III, Matthew Fear, Heather Rollins, Madison Fear, Chloe Kelley, Carly Kelley and Catherine Kelley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. David Preston officiating. Interment will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
