Daniel Harold Carelock

He was born November 25, 1930 in El Dorado to William Buchanan Carelock and Alpha Leaster Carelock. Bo was owner of Carelock’s Used Cars and attended Assembly of God Church. He loved working and horses. Bo never met a stranger and tried to help and be a friend to everyone he met and always saw the good in everyone.

Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother Gerald Rodney Carelock.

Survivors include three sons, Danny Carelock and wife Jamie, David Carelock & Glenn Carelock all of El Dorado and their mother Mary Alice; four brothers, Orland Carelock and wife Lois of Friendswood, TX, R.D. Carelock and wife Helena of Santa Fe, TX, Jimmy Carelock and wife Madrey & Julius Carelock and wife Patsy both of El Dorado; a sister, Rosie Warren of El Dorado; grandchildren, Marcie Lynn Carelock, Jeremy Carelock and wife Emily & John Carelock and wife Jamie all of El Dorado; great-grandchildren, John Daniel Carelock and Brilee Carol Carelock and a special friend and companion Harriet Trantham. Bo will also be missed by his right hand man, Eddie Jackson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 in Young’s Chapel with Bro. Steve Moss and Bro. J.D. Weido officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
