Estelle Ballard Ballard Tiny Simmons

Born on January 27, 1916 in Strong, AR; she is the daughter of Ben Ballard and Artie Black Ballard. She is a member of Beech Street Baptist Church in Crossett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years James Edgar Simmons, four brothers B.J. Ballard, ‘Shorty’ Ballard, Sam Ballard and Curley Ballard, her twin sister Barnell King and sister Etris Langley.

Survivors are a daughter Nell Stanley of El Dorado, a son Leon (Janice) Simmons of Conroe, TX, granddaughters Donna (Danny) Kick of El Dorado, Karen (Pete) Redstone of Bella Vista, Leann King of Lewisville, TX, Heather (Jeff ) Detchman of Battle Ground, WA, a grandson Britt (Tracey) Simmons of Claremore Ok, a sister Ernestine Ballard Walton of El Dorado, along with her faithful friend and visitor Harold Rowan of El Dorado, 13 great- grandchildren and 2 great great- grandchildren

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Funeral services will be 2pm, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in the chapel of Youngs Funeral Directors with Dr. Benjy McCann and Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park near Crossett.
