

She was born December 4, 1930 in El Dorado, AR to W.T. Ray, Sr., and Claudia Adams Ray. Before retiring Fay worked as the office manager at the Surgical Clinic. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and was a Wild Hog Member of the Razorback Foundation.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Ritchie Evans; her son, Ronald “Ronnie” Spruill; her brother, W.T. Ray, Jr.; her sister, Christine Palmer; her nephews, Rickey Ray, Harold Baker, Paul Palmer and her niece, Sonja Jamirson. Fay will be missed by many and leaves behind many memories to be cherished by those who knew her and chose to be a part of her life.
Survivors include her sister, Tommie Baker and nephews, Charles Palmer, John David Palmer, Thomas Glenn Ray, David Ray and Danny Palmer and nieces, JoAnn White, Brenda Baker, Kathy Murph, Cheryl Lowery, Mary Ann Ward and Neene Ray. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.
Fay was blessed to have chosen an extended family to spend a great deal of her time with, Ricky & Susan Lawrence, Allison Lawrence Dumas and husband Vandy, and Clint Lawrence & wife Marsha Lawrence. Even though Mrs. Fay didn’t have any grandchildren the Lord sent her Kolton Dumas, Josie Dumas, Addison Dumas, Andy Craig Dumas, Ronald Elliot Dumas, Hunter Lawrence, Hailee Lawrence & Landon Lawrence that she loved as her own. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Alan Ellen officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
