Fred was a sheet metal worker and owner of Dixie Sheet Metal until his retirement and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in El Dorado where he served as a deacon.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and sister, Melba Ellen.
Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Wanda C. Collins of El Dorado; daughter, Gloria Howard and her husband Charles of El Dorado, son, Richard Collins of Rogers, AR, and grandson, Christian Dumas of El Dorado.
Visitation will be held from 3:00–5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Young’s.
A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012, at Rest Haven memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors and with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating.
