Geneva Thompson, 96, of El Dorado, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011. She was born May 5, 1915, to Henry Bennett Minor and Stella Briley Minor in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Ray Edward Thompson; granddaughter, Deanna Gayle Stephens; brothers, James, Bob and Ben Minor; and sisters, Kathryn Broadnax, Louise Thompson, and Patsy Dennis.
Survivors include her son, Don Thompson of El Dorado; daughter, Gayle Burbank and her husband Doug of El Dorado; two grandchildren, Amber Michael and her husband Kyle, and Wendy Morgan; and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors and with Rev. Ben Early officiating.
