Jo Felton

Born on August 10, 1928 in Crossett, AR.; She was the daughter of Hazen E. Bryant and Flossie Smith Bryant. Jo was a member of the First Baptist Church of El Dorado, attended Ouachita Baptist College, spent many years in Hattie Matheney Sunday school class, recently joined Mary SSC, leader of Cub Scouts, a prayer room volunteer, a homemaker and kindergarten teacher at First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Jarrell B. Felton of El Dorado; sons, Barry Felton and wife Carol, Walter B Felton and wife Gayle all of El Dorado; daughter, Jane Proffitt of Little Rock; grandson, John Felton and wife Amie of El Dorado; granddaughters, Rosamond Johnson and husband Blake of Houston, TX, Hollis Proffitt of Portland, OR; and great-granddaughter, Savannah Jo Felton of El Dorado, AR.

Visitation will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday April 23, 2012 at Young’s.

A memorial service will be 2:30 pm, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of El Dorado with Dr. Lynn Worthen and Rev. Ben Early officiating.
