She was born September 4, 1946 in El Dorado to Doyle Henry Darden and Eva Marie Andrews Darden. She was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents, a sister, Patricia Ann Jackson and three brothers, Thurman, Jerry and Horace Darden.
Survivors include her sister, Helen Irvin and her husband Richard of Farmerville, LA; a sister-in-law, B.J. Darden of El Dorado and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating and under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
